[1] Full Body Motion Capture

Investigating social interaction in Virtual Environments often requires the generation of virtual humans as experimental stimulus. This is accomplished by full-body motion tracking of an actor. Finally the actorsí movements are mapped onto an avatar.

Soft- and Hardware:
  • Full body motion tracking using VICON MX
  • Post Processing animations in VICON IQ
  • Mapping Animations onto the Avatar in MAYA
  • Playback Animation in VIRTOOLS or UNITY
